Tattoo Cult Magazine — What We’re Building
Share
There’s a lot of tattoo content out there.
Scroll Instagram for five minutes and you’ll see it all — perfect lines, healed shots, trending styles, the same flash repeated across different artists. It looks good. It gets likes.
But it doesn’t really say anything.
That’s where Tattoo Cult comes in.
Not Just Another Tattoo Magazine
We’re not here to just repost tattoos.
We’re building something that actually represents the culture behind it — the artists, the clients, the graft, the mistakes, the opinions, the stuff that doesn’t always make it onto social media.
Tattooing isn’t just visuals.
It’s:
- conversations in the chair
- last-minute decisions at conventions
- artists figuring things out in real time
- styles evolving faster than people admit
That’s what we’re documenting.
Built From The Ground Up
Tattoo Cult hasn’t come from a boardroom.
It’s been built on the floor — at conventions, in studios, speaking to artists, suppliers, and the people actually getting tattooed.
Not curated.
Not filtered.
Not overthought.
Just real insight into what’s happening right now.
What You Can Expect
When we launch, Tattoo Cult will cover:
-
Artist Features
Not just portfolios — real conversations about style, technique, and direction. -
Client Side
Why people are actually getting tattooed — not the polished version. -
Industry Insight
Needles, inks, machines — what matters and what doesn’t. -
Trends & Opinions
What’s growing, what’s dying, and what people aren’t saying out loud. -
Community Submissions
Giving artists a platform to be seen properly.
Print, Digital, and Everything Around It
This isn’t just a magazine.
We’re building a platform.
- Physical issues you can actually hold
- Digital access for those who want it instantly
- A space for artists to submit and get featured
- A store with merch and collaborations
- A place brands can be part of the culture, not just advertise into it
Why Now?
Because tattooing is changing.
It’s faster.
More visual.
More accessible.
But at the same time, it’s easy to lose the depth that made it what it is.
Tattoo Cult exists to keep that balance.
We’re Getting Ready
Right now, we’re in build mode.
- Speaking to artists
- Gathering content
- Designing the platform
- Locking in the first issue
Everything you’ll see has been built with intention — not rushed, not thrown together.
Want To Be Part Of It?
If you’re an artist, a brand, or just someone who lives and breathes tattoo culture — this is for you.
Submissions will be opening soon.
First issue dropping shortly after.
This Is Just The Start
Tattoo Cult isn’t trying to follow what’s already been done.
We’re here to build something that actually reflects the scene as it is now.
No fluff.
No pretending.
No recycled content.
Just tattoo culture — properly documented.
